At the property entrance, we installed a curbside xeric bed. Buffalo grass was installed across the front yard, as well as terraced steel planters filled with Texas native and adapted species. Concrete stairs lead into the backyard and around the house, with a custom floating stair addition to match the client’s existing ones. Artificial turf was installed in the backyard. Additionally, a french drain, full irrigation, and a concrete pad for a gate motor were installed. Native seed mixes were spread in other areas of the yard for a wild lawn alternative.
